The subscription is $4 USD per month, plus applicable tax, not a lifetime purchase. Sign in with Google or Apple on your account page to see billing availability. An unconfigured or test deployment does not sell live subscriptions. See the subscription terms.

ThoughtDrop is designed for macOS 14 and later. A signed, notarized download is not available here yet. The website is an interactive preview, not an installer.

Click the small question at the top of the page or choose Open a drop. Close, Escape, or a click outside the reader restores the compact question viewer. Love and Save are independent and last for this page session only, without syncing to your account. Share opens your device’s share sheet or copies the idea when sharing is unavailable. Explore idea opens the full explanation here, and More for you cycles through examples from different books and categories. The website examples are a fixed selection, not personalized recommendations.

Yes, for the Mac reader and subscription. Sign in with Google or Apple; there are no passwords. Your profile, settings, saved ideas, and loved ideas sync to PostgreSQL. Reading activity is separately opt-in and off by default; it does not automatically change your chosen topics. Use your original provider on every Mac: Google and Apple identities cannot be linked or merged here, even with matching emails. Apple Hide My Email is supported; if you started with Apple, choose Apple again. Editorial GitHub accounts remain separate.

Start sign-in in ThoughtDrop. In your browser, sign in and compare the displayed code with the code on your Mac. Explicitly approve only your own Mac. Never approve a code someone sends you. You can revoke other sessions from your account page.

Choose Cancel at period end on your account page. Renewal stops and access continues until the verified paid-through date. Afterwards, saved and loved snapshots remain readable, but new drops, the full library, and new Save or Love actions stop. You can still remove items and sync settings. Refunds or disputed payments may suspend access sooner; your retained collection is not deleted.

Already-retained saved and loved snapshots can be read locally. Account sign-in, sync, billing, and new content require an internet connection and a verified subscription. The app must stop new library access when its verified paid period or session expires; this is not an indefinite offline subscription.

Use the merchant support contact supplied with your Dodo test receipt. Include the app’s installation ID and a description of the problem, never a license key in a public issue, screenshot, or URL. The existing two-Mac test licenses are not monthly subscriptions.

The website’s examples are original paraphrases with book, author, and chapter attribution, not a production-reviewed library. Analogies illustrate the ideas; they are not stories or quotations from the books. Released ideas require source attribution and editorial review. A production support and corrections contact will be published before sales open.
