Clear expectations.
These terms describe the account subscription. Live sales require a configured merchant, published support and refund details, and applicable consumer-rights disclosures. An unavailable or explicitly test-mode checkout does not create a live paid subscription. A signed Mac download is still in preparation.
Monthly subscription
ThoughtDrop costs $4 USD per month, plus applicable taxes disclosed at checkout. The subscription renews monthly until cancelled, or until any disclosed provider subscription term expires. It is not a one-time or lifetime license. No free trial is offered. Sign in with Google or Apple before checkout. Reader accounts do not grant editorial permissions.
Cancellation and retained ideas
Cancel renewal using Cancel at period end on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the verified paid period, not immediately. Until then, new drops and library access continue. After expiry, both saved and loved snapshots remain readable, while new drops, full-library access, and new Save or Love actions stop. Save and Love are independent. Removing an idea from both collections removes its account snapshot; an expired subscription cannot add it back.
Payments, refunds, and interruptions
Dodo hosts checkout and the billing portal. Access starts only after server-side verification of a successful subscription payment. A success redirect alone never proves payment. Failed renewals do not extend access beyond the last verified paid period. Refunds, disputes, expired sessions, or uncertain verification can suspend new content access, but do not erase retained saved or loved snapshots. Refund requests go through the merchant contact on your receipt and applicable consumer law; cancellation alone is not a refund. Operator-specific refund and support disclosures must be finalized before enabling live checkout.
Existing development licenses
The existing Dodo test-mode integration handles one-time, two-Mac development licenses; it does not provide monthly subscriptions. Test receipts and keys are not proof of a paid subscription. For test-license assistance, use the merchant contact supplied with your test receipt and keep your key private.
Attribution and editorial practice
Lore consists of original explanations, not copied book passages or substitutes for books. Each publishable item requires source locators, rights notes, evidence review, and explicit human approval. Author arguments, research findings, anecdotes, and editorial synthesis are labeled distinctly.

Corrections and withdrawal
Editorial changes create new revisions; previously saved snapshots remain identifiable. Withdrawn material is removed from the active delivery release and accompanied by a reason. A legal-removal policy still requires owner approval before launch.
